Mr. Polemitis has two decades of experience in higher education, private equity, and software development. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in International Studies, Accounting, and Computer Information Systems from Indiana University. Antonis Polemitis currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the University of Nicosia.

Mr. Polemitis is one of the founders of the world-leading Digital Currency/Blockchain Initiative at the University of Nicosia, and co-taught the first university cryptocurrency course in the world.

Dr. Scott Stornetta

Partner & Chief Scientist Yugen Partners

Dr. Stornetta is considered by many to be the co-inventor of the blockchain. Dating back to 1991, his pioneering series of papers, written with co-author Dr. Stuart Haber at Bellcore, received the 1992 Discover Award for Computer Software, and helped lay the foundation for Bitcoin and other digital currencies.

Scott Stornetta is currently a partner at Yugen Partners, a venture capital firm in the New York Metropolitan area. He is advisor to several commercial, non-profit and government entities.

Dr. David Utzke

Professor of Blockchain & Digital Asset

Dr. Utzke is an Assoc. Professor of the Blockchain & Digital Asset graduate program at the University of Advancing Technology and also serves as the DLT, Digital Asset, and Alternative Payment Systems expert within a U.S. government agency Criminal Cybercrimes Unit.

He has spent the past 30 years in the digital asset and distributed ledger ecosystem as a researcher, academic, and user.

Linda Goetze

An educator and connector, Linda Goetze, M.Ed., has been engaged with blockchain technology since 2012. She is Co-Founder of DFM Data Corp., Inc., and recently served as the First Female President and CEO of the Blockchain Chamber of Commerce. Linda is passionately engaged in facilitating the responsible use of cutting-edge technologies for the betterment of humanity. A member of Mensa and proud mother of boy/girl twins, she left traditional employment behind after spending 13 years as an award-winning educator.

Spearheading the emerging Universal Framework of Things Consortium and advising several projects and funds, Linda “leads to serve,” and supports a number of non-profits including her favourite charity, BloomintheDark.org.

Dr.Konstantinos Karasavvas

Konstantinos, the creator of BLOCK.CO’s technology, is a computer scientist with 20+ years of experience. He has worked in academic research and service-oriented architectures for about a decade. He has also worked as a software architect and engineer in several domains; from bioinformatics to finance.

Currently, Konstantinos is teaching and leading several research and development teams. He is also an open-source contributor and an active member of local Bitcoin communities.

Jeff Bandman

Jeff Bandman is a founder and principal of Bandman Advisors, an advisory practice helping clients ranging from governments to startups to global firms meet strategic innovation and regulatory challenges.

Mr. Bandman is also a co-founder, board member and regulatory lead of the Global Digital Finance Initiative (GDF.io) and a founder & CEO of BlockAgent Inc., an independent SEC-registered transfer agent focused on blockchain-based digital securities. He also worked in the financial industry in New York and London as an attorney and business executive as well as a Lecturer in Global Affairs on Cryptoassets, Blockchain and Public Policy in the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.
